Universal design makes the world cup UNIQUE! 

Building surroundings that can be used by a wide range of people, regardless of age, size, or level of impairment, is known as universal design. While universal design encourages accessibility for people with disabilities, it also has advantages for others. The goal of universal design is to make products as usable as possible for people with a wide range of characteristics. A pure Example is the Worl Cup 2022, they made a fascinating design to help people with disabilities reach every area and move all around Qatar without any issues, they used Accessible elevators only for people with disabilities all of this to make them feel the full and unique experience. “The Accessibility Forum is very important as it enables us to work directly with people with disabilities and ensure that the accessibility standards we have put in place across stadiums and digital content meet all their needs,” said Khaled Al Suwaidi, the SC’s Stakeholder Relations Senior Manager. all this to ensure an accessible FIFA World Cup 2022 for disabled people and people with limited mobility while facilitating accessibility across physical infrastructure, public transport, and services in Qatar. This doesn’t end here. Qatar has also announced that fans with physical disabilities arriving in Qatar can travel on public transport hassle-free, and all the transports are wheelchair-accessible and provide seamless transport options for those with disabilities. The metro stations have elevators to reach different floor levels quickly and the metro features dedicated seats for those with constricted mobility. The metro even has vacant spaces for wheelchair users too.
